H*nda Bros 400 if you fancy a standard 33bhp monster and a cool retro one too. The only negative is the price they hold now.

Bit of dodginess here... the washers work fine on the curvy. On an injected motor they're a total bodge because FI int. couldn't be arsed designing a proper solution. Motor is still putting fuel in while airflow is restricted. Results in running sloppy rich.

For the curvy both the OEM and the FI int. kit work about as well as something that chops your bikes balls off can work.

For the pointy it's gotta be the ECU method.

Remember the free 33bhp ECU deal is only if you buy the bike from a dealer, which means getting your pants pulled down on the price.

That was probably because it was an IL4, they are horrible to ride when restricted.

Correct, in fact it never actually stopped all those years ago and the deal applies to new or used.

Engines were crap anyway, never had decent fuelling unless fettled with and as yours was being strangled it probably didn't help either.

I've got a curvy SVS, seems to run OK for me..
Still accelerates nicely... enough there to scare you coming straight from a CG125

Yorkie_Chris really knows his stuff well, so I'd follow his advice if I were you...

Cheers for all the advice. You lot are thinking along the same lines as me.

SO after some chats this weekend wor lass will get the SV (only lent to her you understand).

We had a quote for the offical SV restrictor for 180 all fitted with the paper and stuff . The dealer is only 5 minutes away so its the one for us.

.....and just in case you were wondering I have spent the day ringing around for a new SuperDuke for moi so everyone is very happy.

If I am working in the UK next year we (wor lass and I) will try an meet up and say thanks
