the half and half is one of the downpipes that sits underneath the bike, so you can imagen what the front header pipe was like. to say it was brown and hideous is an understatement.

going to give this wonder wheels a real acid test.. my brothers duke 750ss pipes have never been cleaned the bike is in my garden so its fair game.
so i think i will experiment on them ... if it works he'll be pleased.. if it dosen't i'm dead.. if i'm not back on line tomorrow night.. it's been nice knowing you all. |

must say, never ever use it on un laquered highly polished alloys...it'll knacker it.

yup .. it sure does ... it also does not like galvanised stuff.. turns it a dull grey.. but it works like a charm on bike alloys and break callipers as well.. oooh another thing i noticed is that it turns break discs brown within a couple of hours, so its good to take the bike for a wee spin afterwords.

you can get it a helfords .. i got a great big 5ltr one from cosco about 8 years ago and i still have 1/3 left ...
its not cheep ... but if you are careful it lasts for ages.. use an old cereal bowl and an old paint brush, stiffer the better. |

pretty impressive stuff, I would be tempted to use it on my downpipes and stainless/titanium system but would be worried at the same time that it would remove protective properties.
