I bet he'd be gutted if his bike was stolen and the police pulled the usual "there's nothing we can do, here's a reference"

shouldnt worry too much as the evidence he would present would never be admissible in court. Yes the police would be interested and perhaps put more observers in the area in the hope of catching a few speeders, but thats all. As others have said, the next headline from this story would be that something has happened to this guy or his possessions!
