I'd also be taking issue with Royal Mail as well - surely they shouldn't have left the parcel on the step in the first place, but either left it in a safe place or with neighbours or taken it back to the post office.

Agreed, though postie pat is a nice enough bloke, and has done same before for myself and neighbours, not that that makes it right. Its never been discussed or encouraged mind.

Ultimately, if nothing happens, I guess I'll have to report anything undelivered to the vendor, and will have to claim off post office anyway

i'd wait for the scrote to collect the charity sack and if he aint that big (i aint that desperate for any parcel) nail him to the garden gate and wait for penny for the guy to show!!!!!
