Have you tested it in 2.1 to see if the sub kicks in ?

well its now decided to install service pack 3, which I'm sure I'd already done so maybe that will do something

Ok I take back what I said before

, Fresh install then service packs after getting online then Drivers . Then we hunt down the problem . I couldn`t transfer from my Digital Camcorder over FireWire and was banging my head against the wall ..... I eventually tried the MS knowledge base and found a teeny tiny 1.4meg install that sorted it for me . Service pack 3 .. is this XP ?

yeap xp pro, last time i wiped it all i had this problem but it i managed to sort it out pretty simply but i cant remmebr what i did
