Very dramatic conclusion. How long before Ferrari International Aid step in I wonder...?

What got me last year was max mosely being interviewed and saying hamilton should "leave it a couple of years" before attempting the championship. FFS the ONLY interesting thing to happen in F1 for about 5 years and boss says he shouldn't be trying to win.... racing? What a bellend.

Yeah Massa finished ahead of Hamilton in last race but so what it's the points that matter.

Trying to explain to non-F1 racing fans (who watched the race with me) why Lewis Hamilton won the Championship even tho he came fifth in the race and the other guy that could have won it came first and didn't win the Championship was difficult.

Question of the Conversation:
Do they all start off with 100 points then?

Has Hamilton actually spoke or made a press statement yet?
Saw the 'drivers quotes' thing on the official site but the wording is like its coming from the team rather than Lewis. Unless Lewis has gone mad with glory and has started refering to himself in the third person.

That would be excellent, I'd love it if he went crazy at this point, started smoking a pipe and referring to himself in the third person, talking like a C19 british gent.

Nail biting end to the race. Although for me it was all ruined as soon as I saw the title of this thread before I had actually seen the race.

Tyres only work in a certain temp range. Keep the warmth (as glock did) then your fine...

But on the last lap it rained harder, he lost temperature, it becomes like driving on ice. Watch the last 5-6 corners whent the cars bunch up into 4. He's all over the place, misses the apex on the uphill bend, then the rears spin up.

I've got no doubt he wasn't trying his hardest to maintain his 4th position.

I like Massa, and Hamilton, but I don't care what anyone says, end of the day, points prove the championship, and at the end of it, Hamilton had more, so he wins. Massa didn't, got to feel for the guy though, one of the nicer blokes in F1.

Next year should be much better. Get rid of all that driver rubbish, big fat tyres, less wing, push to pass, we'll start to see the "drivers" over the "technological aided drivers"

Don't think I'm that bad
Just been mulling it over today and now quite happy to agree that there's a prize for each race & a prize for the year overall.

Headline in the Daily Star was Hamilton wins £1Billion - What's that all about

I think they meant £100m Driver. Refering to someones comments on the coverage of Hamilton becoming the first ever driver to earn £100million a year for driving in the sport.

Didn't mean you Stu. Meant my friends who had never watched a F1 race in their lives. I had them asking what was happening even on the last 2 laps where Lewis looked like he was going to loose it. I can't deal with 2 things at once at the best of times but I had to tell them to shut up hehe
