I grew up in Europe, forces kid, so we had BFBS and not much kids telly.

Then came back to the UK in 86 and discovered kids TV.

Dangermouse,
Get Smart,
The Adams Family,
Knightmare,
Droids.

The biggest shock I had was Saturday morning TV... You actually had it. BFBS would show one episode of Wacky Races or that awful Catch the Pigeon, before Grandstand and that was it.

However I quickly found it to be overly loud and quite irritating and by the age of sixteen was tuning to Radio Four, for the Mary Whitehouse Experience.
