Well I thought so too, which is why I didn't bother looking till now. I've nothing against facebook, but it doesn't float my boat.

I find this more of a cross between texting and IM. I can keep a conversation going with my wife, daughter and friends while watching other conversations.

There are some interesting people on here like Stephen Fry and Alan Davies, plus RSS type feeds from the BBC Click team and the Gadget show.

it's worth a look.

Facebook is starting to p*ss me off. I want to keep in touch with and see what my friends are doing, I dont want to know if they are playing scrabble or bingo. I dont want to joni a mob, I dont want to play with a vampire either....

I'd like it much better if I could turn off all the applications and not get bothered by them anymore...

I believe there is a way to edit the news feeds on facebook, but I am not sure about disabling app invitations.
