Ended up in the Aintree branch today and got mine, they got 60 in and thay have been flying out.....
Can someone tell me if this is just for the metal work or fairing as well, the bottle seems to contradict its self.. Dave |

it's safe on the fairing but won't do it any good. i.e. it won't stop it rusting

you can put it everywhere on your bike with the exception of brakes (obviously) however it is water based and will need re applied after rain or washing. if you take the empty bottle back you can get £1 of your next bottle.

Been meaning to ask about this, my local mechanics swears by the it and last service they took the time to clean my bike and coat every inch of it in the stuff (only charged same labour time as well, depths of winter must be their quiet time and guess they're bored). Can't really say if it worked or not as the bike was filthy again within a week and it's definitely rained (boy has it rained) a good few days since.
Compared to ACF-50 what are the pros/cons? I gather ACF is considerably more gloopy and long lasting, but then the fact that its gloopy and oil based is also something of a con? |

I clean my bikes down (a full strip) at the beginning of each year, every year I find the ACF from the year before. Last edited by Dangerous Dave; 26-11-08 at 04:21 PM. |
