Hah, still haven't put it on to be honest, its just sitting with the normal style link pipe. Cant be bothered faffing about with indicators for now.

Has the Versys got the same parallel twin as the er-6?
If it has, sorry.. but its such a gay sounding engine, even with aftermarket cans it sounds weird.

yup same, Aside from buying another SV, Id have to step up in CCs to get something to sound as fruity as for me, IL4s dont do it. The parallel feels agricultural at low speeds, much like a single and it was for that reason I wonder whether the test bike is sorted or not. I heard that it was a great engine

To be honest all an SV needs to improve flick ability is raise the rear a bit.

I rode yesterday and today, my lack or riding lately really has suffered with lines and confidence through corners. Yesterday whilst out I couldn't get anything right.
