If not carb icing has any work been done to the bike recently, the air box might not be sat/sealed correctly.

nope no work done to that part of the bike at all apart from when i first got the bike i had the carbs balanced.

any one know any places in kent to get the silicone pro stuf from i got to fill up with petrol tonight so going to see about some super unleaded or v- power if the shells not busy on way home

Halfords, many car accessory shops also stock it along with most motorcycle dealers.

Mine was too and is defintly carb icing. Mine doesnt hold back but its a pain in the ass at part throttle, even worse with tick winter gloves on!

Ditto it's a right pain in the butt cheeks aint it! You apply a bit more throttle because nothing is happening and wham some warmer fuel comes through and your going too fast then!

They don't do the Silkolene stuff so it might not be worth going there.

I have just tried the Halfords near me and it's a big store and they don't do it. I tried Earnshaws motorbike store near me and they don't either LOL.

Might try online.

Are you sure? My nearest Halfords is a Silkolene stockist, can't see why one store is and another isn't as all the stock comes from the same distribution warehouse.

Any how a good motorcycle dealer will have it on the shelf, whether a Silkolene dealer or not so give that a try. Hundreds of places online to purchase it from too.
