If they are both worn out I change as a pair , however this does not happen often , so change individual tyre as they are needed
as tires = expensive .

as long as you choose a same make tyre and you've a matching pair that work together then its okay. i would never mix manufacturers and tread patterns.

I think it's nearer 8k to be honest, not properly checked yet.. I've ordered the avons now just waiting on them coming, hopefully they won't be too long.
