Darth Maul was cool, he had no lines at all but still had more menace than every other star wars villain. Plus, having a light sabre fight with someone who could actually fight made a nice change. Almost saved The Phantom Menace singlehandedly. And he's never been played by Hayden Christiansen. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" I love that bit in the big fight at the end, where Jeff Bridges reprising The Dude is on one side of the forcefield thing, and Darth Maul is on the other... The Dude uses the respite to chill out and think about bowling, while Darth Maul spazzes out and prowls around like a proper bug-eyed mental. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rlURzhz7X6c (2.10) Also love that intro... 5 seconds in.
