It looks like the protective on the fog city. Is the FC still in place against the visor below that film?

Went to the shop today, just said I have an R1 and I heard an answer: "it's the visor, isn't it?"
Replaced free of charge, what's more, they had pin lock visors in stock, so I just paid the difference and got myself one of them

Glad you got sorted, and got the later pinlock visor.

Just to add that the peeling of the anti-mist coating was a well known problem, mine came off like glitter the first time it got damp.
