What's up with the ignition?

i had a similar problem with the fuel pump connector.

only just got the chance to go have a look and after playing around i found that pulling in and releasing the clutch made it start so pretty sure it will be that.... is it the two black and yellow wires i need to cut and rejoin or would i be better off trying to open it up and cean the connection??? if so how do i do that!!

Dodgy clutch switch it seems, just cut and connect the two wires to by pass it.

I can't remember the colour off the top of my head (getting old) but if you are referring to the two wires leading into the black connector which plugs into the underside of clutch lever perch then yes, cut and connect.
