I've used calipers for several thousand miles without dust seals in at all, just fill the gap with rubber grease and let that catch the carp instead.
I would not recommend that approach however.

On my K3 there is firstly, a small grub screw to unscrew, and then behind that is the pin that you also unscrew (allen).

Brilliant, I'll give that a go,
Thanks everyone for all the other advice, I got myself a tub of red rubber grease and plan to clean up the calipers including the front ones ![]() cheers |
