Oh man, that sucks as Tim said, have a think about September. It's usually still warm around these parts (last year was just as hot - if not hotter - as July / August) and probably the same kind of prices as June.

Hmmm September.....rainfall & sunshine stats about the same as June. Ferry about £30 cheaper each.

Although Sept 6th is WSBK Nurbergring and Sept 13th is MotoGP San Marino. Which are sort of doable over a 2 week jolly......... plan B?

Can I just say fantastic choice of routes... a word about day 7...

I don’t know what riding skill level of the people going on this ride are however, the road Via R. Douro is one of the most challenging roads and for me is up there with the twisties in Wales.

This road despite it´s challenge also has the most phenomenal views across the river and city.

The bends however do not open up .. They close on you QUICKLY.

Have fun enjoy the view and have the biggest grin on your face when you get to the bottom safe.
