Was about -8 when I set off and our lane was still covered in compressed and frozen snow from yesterday. At least it wasn't windy today, so less of a wind-chill factor. And whilst public transport may not be perfect, it's still warmer than the bike.

Well when I left home for work it was -3 and I had to sit in the car and wait for it to warm up and clear the ice off the windscreen as I can't be bothered to scrape or de-ice it. It was a bit cold waiting there so I put my heated seats on.
Had some minor issues getting out of the street as my car is rear wheel drive and lost traction very very easily so I has to push the 'Snow' button which sorted that out. Then inside temperature was unable to reach my specified 30 degrees by the time I got to work. And to top it all off the heater at work which I had set to turn on 15 minutes before I get here hasn't even heated the warehouse up yet!!! Its just awful. ![]() ![]() ![]()

The drawback of my 15 second commute from bedroom to office is that my feet got a little chilly.

When I got up it was -6, so offered Mr Lou a lift to work (he's usually on his CG).
I have to honestly say that I've never seen him so quick to get out of bed knowing there was a lift to be had!! ![]() |

Wasn't a bad run in on the bike, except the bit over the burst water main. That was a little slidey, if I'm honest.
