Where would 'reasonable doubt' fall in a court if you chopped it off and just said in court "there was no clamp when I got back to the car???, it must have been nicked?"

I got clamped a couple of years back at college, deflated tyre, got clamp off, used the electric pump and job was done.

i returned it to the college reception, they were annoyed. they got the clamping guy over and he was like omg how did you do that i said im not telling you and i was on my way lol

never heard anything else

Differnce is, you didn't damage their clamp. But theyseem to be wise to that now and attach them more securely

Nowadays I'd be inclined to cut the thing small enough to take away with me. No clamp = no evidence

That only proves that once there was a clamp on the car.

Hey thats just given me a new fun way to spend my days when I win the lottery.

Get a van with a set of pro-spec cutting tools and just go around looking for clamped cars and freeing them

lol...good move, love the optimism too...WHEN i win the lottery!!

anywhoo....was just gettin it off my chest yesterday....like i said in the first post..it was my fault, there was signs,

had he of not turned up before mate with ginder did i would have had it off and left it to him to prove i was there that day at that time but as it goes my luck ran out that day...lesson learnt!
