Bargain , I was gonna try Halvarssons in Colwyn Bay motorcycles but they didn`t have a good manly size in stock , so tried Rukka instead , pure Heaven

, but a nightmare to replace insurance wise if I do anything bad in them .

Cost wise from my own pocket I meant , Insurance wise I would just walk into CB motorcycles and get them to order me another jacket and they would sort it out with the Insurance .

In my recent off I claimed on my household insurance for my gear.

I had no receipts as things had been bought at really good prices through e bay etc.

I claimed for helmet, boots and jacket.

I got a cheque for £622.?? after 10% depreciation and £100 xs.

All I sent in was photos of the damaged kit and printouts from on line retailers to show replacement costs.

So home insurance is looking like the way to go for this sort of stuff then as they don`t seem to quibble on amounts then .

Whaz the crack with it though, would you lose NCB etc?

Can you get stand alone gear cover that isn't connected to your bike insurance?

Why don't you ring up your insurance company and ask them?

Because they are lazier than a St.Bernard Dog in front of a log fire after an hours walk , they just about operate within work hours as it is nevermind at weekends
