Thanks for the info folks. I'll have a look at the plug when I get some time. As for the backfiring, it happens about once or twice a week and usually only when the throttle is opened.
Regarding the engine wanting to stall when I open the throttle quickly-it's not doing this because I'm not being gentle with the throttle, in normal riding its not a problem. But for instance, it does it if I were to open the throttle deliberately quickly, and then hold it open. |
