We were quite merry over a few last night and she was talking about popping in to see what they had whilst she was in the area. We mentioned the 636 so I guess that may be were she is coming from and still have those numbers fogged into her girly mind stuck between shoes and handbags.

TBH if you met her you would know her mind is usually focused on battering her husband then customers

I've had 2 bikes from DK, they may be overpriced for 2nd hand, but I couldn't fault thier service.Years ago they were awful, but these days they seem to be on the button. I wouldn't bother worrying about anything at all.

They are, but they have been known to sell a few new German ones.

Looking on DK's site, I reckon it must be one of these

Or the new bike was genuinely cheaper than a 2nd hand bike, and they gave the same Px value?

edit... hmmm or the new bike is on a 0% deal which works out cheaper.

I'm very skeptical about 0% deals, and px prices. So long as cost-to-change is affordable then its fine... but "deals" can be swings and roundabouts. e.g. 0% finance at full price or interest with a £500 discount

ooohh ''dodgy knuts''??
as Im Indoors named them. Hmmm yes we got a very overpriced Raptor from there. It came delivered which wasn't a bad thing as it was snowing but they did try to forget about the 200 quid that Im indoors included in the final price, to put a full yoshi system on it. He didn't know at the time that the raptor design wouldn't take a system from a TL, but part of the deal was a full Yoshi off a TL in their showroom, they rang back after a day or two and told him it wouldn't fit. They were supposed to send the 200 quid back to him with the bike.....and they kindly forgot. He got it back

........eventually.

I know of a couple of Ninja's that have just been built/PDI'd and given to the customer, only to have the riders foot rests fall off within 15miles.

One of these happened to the rider just as they were approaching a bend, and wanting to change down. Press on the gear lever & the whole assembly fell off. Luckily the guy wasn't a novice, but he also didn't have a toolkit with him.

The pillion peg bolts are identical, and can be used in an emergency.

Check all bolts are torqued properly.

NB, the bikes I've experienced weren't from the same shop, but it gives an indication to attention paid when building.
