Weclome them with open arms, a pat on the back, and say "Now I don't think you wanted to buy that"

[quote=ThEGr33k;1757503]Really, the yanks dont like it?

I dont know. I dont think its very nice (see ThEGr33k's opinion of the gladius on youtube) and isnt a true SV. Whats happening with the S version? Or is this a bike to be sold along side the SV650S/N?

So speaks a dyed in the wool SV enthusiast!

With the state this country is in, there should be an awful lot of peeps looking for reliable, relatively cheap, transport.( The railways, per Timwilky's thread are no use )
The Gladius could just suit a lot of them. Hope so

Take a look at the TL. When Cagiva got the engine and enveloped it some wonderful but odd Italian clothing, not everyone welcomed it with open arms..ok it was those who couldn't afford it, or didn't like the styling, but it now has a pretty good following. Some TL owners have them, Buell owners have them, SV owners upgraded to them.....some only dream of them. End of the day its still a TL engine. Like the Gladys is an SV engine. It might not be everyones cuppa, but it will be somebodies cuppa

Sure welcome them, but only if it's a welcome and not a point and laugh scenario

Gladius aint my cup of tea, but I imagine someone somewhere must like it so good luck to them.
