We did our honeymoon on a tight budget and went to Bath - stayed in a 5* hotel for 4 nights and did the whole tourist thing including the night time roof top spa (which was amazing!) - I would thoroughly recommend it as its a very romantic place

Maybe but then again travel agents will bite your hand off if you book now. In fact, if you phone them they'll send a car for you!

Of course, you will need some clue as to where to go...

If you can't bear the Stag/Hen horror of Easyjet/Ryanair flights and destinations, think about bonnie Scotland. Off the top of my head, Applecross - linky.

My point exactly. Dont get married.

I could suggest somewhere like centre parcs. Its lovely in the winter and can be as cheap as £180 for the both of you.

nooooo he doesn't want to go there. A friend of mine went there with his kids and came back after 2 days, he said it full of middle class twonks, with horrid kids. All he heard was shouts of 'Jasper, don't do that darling' and 'Charlotte, no you can't take the horsey home'

you get the picture

I think the Sun are doing a Promo at the minute. Holiday for £9.50 or summat.

Well, i have been to centre parcs many many times, and never come across that at all. They probably thought it was like buttlins, full of low class twonks who are sponging off the state . Im certianly not middle class thats for sure, and i love the place, centre parcs that is.

Ever the romantic eh Dizz?

There's nothing telling you you have to keep with tradition and have the honeymoon soon after the wedding, after all the whole idea of the honeymoon is to enjoy spending time with your beloved so having a nice trip away anytime after will be better for both of you. No need to spend your time away worrying about finances if you know you've got it cheap. Depending on the people of course, I think a place with plenty to do and experience would be better as opposed to lazing about on a beach but of course people have their own tastes Sorry I rambled on a bit lol!
