If it is a kick start bike, and one end goes to earth, the other to the wire to the coil then I would take a running jump that it is the kill switch. and the switch is normally open. So if you have that in place it is probably a connector, no other part would be needed as when it runs there is no current through it.
A little more context would help, can you post the diagram itself?
