thats the one , gettin my photo's developed and will stick them up asap
as for the weather 15 foot visability on the mountain at 0600 on fri that was educational. and a bit windy throught the weekend but who cares. point of note dont take mount helen 2 with one hand while cleaning visor with other with wife on back she really didnt like that. missyc i warn you i may have to kidnap your other half for the next time i go over ( cos he's as mental as me) things for next time or someone going for there first trip 1) make sure bike is tip top (new chain and sprockets for me and poss cluch) 2) go out of season ( costs a bit less and less traffic) 3) its ****in expencive so £350 over there is roughing it 4) do at least 5 slow rounds before building up speed (watched one lad get of boat and 1hour later seen at side of road with half a bike literally) 5) it shuts down on sunday so get what you need on sat 6) buy a return ticket or your family will never see you again anyone else thats done it add your toughts Last edited by davepreston; 03-02-09 at 07:27 PM. |

To my shame I've only been over on foot for a weekend of marshalling at Jurby airfield. In my defence, I didn't actually have a bike at the time (having recently destroyed it) but I owe it to myself to get over there for a few laps at some point. TT Superbikes just isn't quite enough.
