Liverpool flights are usually quite cheap on the budget airlines, and you can get a bus to liverpool airport from Manchester picadilly for £7

Look up which airlines fly the route you want, then call them.
Explain the situation & ask if they have any spare crew seats on any flights in the next few days. They might tell you to go forth and multiply though. Whenever I've used crew seats it's because I've known people working for the airline. It's by far the cheapest way to travel, but not that comfy long distance. |

sorry to hear
www.skyscanner.net shows everything you'll need including budget airline routes and cheapest fares but also try calling some of the bigger airlines as they do special fares for special circumstances. |

pack you bags, phone leeds, manchester or liverpool and explain and ask for any spare seats going, that might work but usually booking at the last minute with a low cost airline would be quite expensive, schedualed airlines might be trying to flog the last couple of seats so try blag the price down,
hope things work out mate |
