Get hiking socks not biking socks. My mate bought some oxford biker socks and says they're worse than tescos. I'd get some decent hiking ones. What boots are you wearing. I'm hoping my feet'll be okay in gtex boots.

Hope you rinsed all the salt off when you got home, else next time you go in the garage, all you'll find will be a pile of rust where the SV used to be

Spokey

Yes we went but we got there just after one, i thought the auction was on in the afternoon and then shut at 16:00.

But it turned out that the auction started at 16:00. . So no there wasn't that many there when we were there

The roads weren't to bad, we just took it easy.

The big carpark at Big D's was like an ice rink but the small one was ok.

if you want warm feet without buying heated socks these ... http://www.x-socks.com/product.php?c...ab0fe7056fa8c9 are the next best thing! sell loads of them in the shop i work in. they work brilliantly, bought my mum a couple of pairs for christmas and she says they work. tried them once myself and they are good. they are expensive, but well worth it.
