I've got no dependents, no partner for support... So I get bare minimum to survive on benefits til I find another job.

Being single and out of work seems to mean the contributions on my professional earnings that I've made to the system thus far, entitles me to minimal support 'til I'm back on my feet. A pity if I lose my house in the process.

Maybe i should rush out and get myself pregnant.
Unfair isn't it my big sis has just been made redundant too, luckily her hubby is ok in his job for the moment.

Haha - yes it seems to be a failsafe way of getting a roof over your head!

Ping sorry to hear about the job, wasn't this a recent position you took? Hopefully things will turn out OK job wise, if the pregnant thing doesn't work out of course

May I volunteer my services... I have a good track record with such things. And of course it will be dealt with quietly and discreetly...no-one needs to know

If the 13year old opposite me can manage it I am sure all your various associates can "Fix" it for you.
Must have been drinking the water in Essex to long as that seems to be the mind set of quite a few round here.
Something will come along on the job front soon I'm sure, but in todays economic climate setting your sights to high could be a problem and there doesn't seem to be much available on the job front locally.

Tee hee hee!

The IT industry hasn't been hit so hard yet, I just keep getting pipped to the post by more suitable candidates.

Got a couple in the pipeline atm (jobs, not babies ) so it's just a matter of wait and see. Applying for pretty much anything that comes up in my line of work.

Cheers for commiserations, advice and offers of erm... well, offers.
