you could just turn the abba stand round the other way as i do it works a treat

The other way I have seen this done is to use ratchet straps from the bottom of the stand up to the pillion foot peg mounts, once tightened pulls the rear down and the balance towards the rear. Not sure how secure it would be though as means all the weight is on the mounts.

Think i will just go for the car jack or sand through the rear wheel method.

Horse droppings! That doesn't work
Don't know why I thought it would because it is using the same pivot point on the bike so why would it make any difference?
