They'd look better without the GSXR paint scheme. I'd have one instead of a Bandit, if I had to have one or the other, seems like a decent budget bike with a comfy riding position to me.

I had one as a loan bike last year when one of mine was in for a service. Very comfortable and relaxed riding position, far more so than the SV. It went OK too and very smooth, it felt very solid on the twitsy bits. It is heavier though and arguabely may feel a little less exiting if you want to hoon. A better all rounder IMHO, but the SV has the edge on the fun factor.

I was in a smilar frame of mind when choosing a bike to buy. In the end it was between the SV650S K9 and the GSX650F K9. I ended up going for the SV as I thought the GSX was trying hard to look like a GSXR with the decals etc. I don't know why Suzuki has styled it to look that. So purely on that fact I got the SV as I think it has more character. Also red a write up in Ride mag recently stating that its a bike that does what it says on the tin, nothing more, nothing less. Its probably a nice bike but I think the SV has the ability to surprise you and make you feel good.

i don't see the problem with the styling would people rather they brought back that godawfull teapot gsxf kinda think it's cool for those who want something not as focussed but still good looking.
