sleep on it, if you still want it tomorrow then get a test ride in over a weeks time, if you STILL want it, can afford to run it, then go for it, you only get these oppertunities once in life and you'll regret walking away later if you do

When I was at Knotts there was another customer having his first service and he'd changed his cans to Yoshi, corrrr, they did look good, much better than the originals.
Hummm, Hayabusa surf time I thinks. |

Mr UKI (1) please don't post pictures like that, I nearly had an asthma attack! very nice.
That's the previous model isn't it? My worry was whether it would be too heavy at low speeds, but the chap I was talking to said that it coped fine. |

Think about it long and hard. When you say its "doable"think about the running costs including its use of chains and insatiable appetite for rear tyres.Get an insurance quote.
Then buy it.

Okay I'll try.
Firstly, in this time of recession is it wise to spend more money than neccessary? I'm sure you will end up having to pay more than if you kept your two current bikes. The Hayabusa will guzzle fuel like ther's no tomorrow and the insurance comanies will want one of your arms and a leg! How am I doing? Secondly, It wont be as practical or as much fun as the two bike you already have. It'll be awful to move about at low speed and will be uncomfortable after a few miles. Thirdly, It will eat rear tyres, chain and sprocket sets and brake pads. The general upkeep of the bike will be staggeringly expensive. Well, Have I managed to do it? On the other hand you only live once, and life is so very short. So stuff the bank manager and go for it girl! Ps. I accept no responsibility for your decision, whatever it turns out to be! |
