Suzuki have a reputation you should be upholding.
althought when he opens the throttle i might has well not moved from where i was because thats what it looks like from anyone who sees him open the throttle when im already doing 80.

but obv suzuki is better.

still i like the look of the rim tape

Where do I start.

From a performance point of view it is extra unsprung weight and rotating mass right at the edge of the wheel, thus affecting braking acceleration and ease of turning. With the resulting loss in fuel economy.

From an aesthetic point of view. Chavchavchavchavchav.

From a maintenence point of view, you wouldn't be able to see it after about 1000 miles, and if you actually clean your bike more often than that, or indeed at all, then poof.

From a cost point of view, it does f##k all so why buy it. Exactly zero efficiency as a modification. Maybe even negative considering the losses incurred above.

So, except for the weight saving from your wallet. Why bother with it? Other than to be a tart. Spend the dosh on a tank of fuel instead...

Or even polish the rims, looks better and saves weight...

polish the rims no way, if you want shinny metal bits why dont you buy a chopper. now i think we both have a dislike. and i want statistics to back up your explination, of weighing the wheels down, fuel economy being poorer and bad handling Lol

OK go weigh your rim tape and I will do the sums. Also I need to know the radius of the rim tape in relation to the centre of the wheel.
