nah, by then all vehicles will be speed restricted to 3mph so the little flag man doesn't exert himself and die

So we can't afford to resurface the roads in a time of 'boom', but we can afford to build the worlds largest network of average speed cameras during recession. (On average in the UK a road gets resurfaced every 74 years!)

Let's just hope they're the forward facing SPECS
I'm fookin' back to France!

GSXR1000, don't send the V5 off. Nick some other poor c##ts plate. It's going to make far more sense than being legal soon.

Sadly I know a few people who do that...or rather ride with no plates at all! They have insurance (invalid with no plate?) but literally just take the plate off the back when they are on a "pleasure" ride!

Perfectly moral. An unjust law is no law.

It will happen soon. Some one I know has even been looking at laser jammers recently. I think we can safely say that the motorist has no respect whatsoever for road policy anymore.

Quote:
Edmund King, president of the AA, warned that the move could alienate some motorists. Last year the AA asked 17,481 motorists if the limit on single carriageway roads should be cut to 50mph. Nearly half backed the move but 38% opposed it.
Were they asking the WI?!

Some motorists? Lol.

Most worrying thing is the possibility of remotely operated aircraft being used for traffic enforcement / tracking people doing a runner. You read "professional engineer" mag? There was an article about that in there.

Funny thing is that speed is only ever a contributory factor of an accident. The primary cause of an accident is rarely ever speed! Speed only amplifies the outcome, so it won't stop accidents, just might stop fatalities!

Wish they spent more time and money getting unlicensed and therefore untrained drivers off the roads! There was a bloody unlicensed foreign man driving down the wrong side of the dual-carriage way the other month!

Yup. Or the bloke behind me today. It had just been tipping it down and was now brilliantly sunny so you had a soaking wet road surface now bright with sun glare. And he's smoking a fag with one hand and talking into his phone with the other.

He could be going 10mph and still hit something like that.
