Had a really good day today. Seemed to put everything from last year behind me & just went out to enjoy myself. Started by getting my technique better & I'm feeling a lot more comfortable on the bike & then started to work on my corner speed. I am still not fast enough (in my eyes) into the corners, but am now a lot faster than I have been at any track day I've done. Everything is looking promising for the coming season, so it looks like I will be entering a few races this year. I am aching like mad now, but it has been well worth it, I can't wait to get the CBR finished so i can play on that.

I have been saying for years "What is the point?" But I must admit I was like a dog with the preverbial today, Tim will tell you what I was like when i came back in to the paddock

The test day is run by 3 sisters circuit. It is open to anyone with an ACU licence & is a cheap way of testing your race/track bike.
For 4 hours it cost £50. Now that sounds like a lot of money for the time, but it is like having an open pit lane. If you were mad enough you could stay on track for the whole 4 hours. You can go out on circuit whenever you want. It is a good way for the more serious people to test thier bikes & get them set up ready for the coming season
