stupid fat birds. I know I can't really talk but hey ho...
I hit a blackbird (feathered variety) at about 65mph last year in may.. covered me in bird pizzle & shizzle... and hurt like hell. Felt like someone took a running punch straight at my chest! Glad you're ok matey!

I remember hitting a flock of sparrows when I was 18 on my RD 350 that were feeding on spilt wheat.
I got at least a dozen of the little buggers and when I finally stopped the bike it looked like a bloodbath. I'd collected half of them and the bike collected the rest. One new radiator, screen and indicator later I was back on the road. but the blood is still incrained in the white leather of the jacket I was wearing (still got it but its just a little small!). But the best of the best was my mate who came off on his way back from the Chinese and when the witnesses approached him after the off, everyone was sick. It looked like his brains had come through the visor. It wasn't brains, it was the Chow Mein he'd had down the front of his Jacket that had squirted up into his helmet when he landed  The only thing wrong with him was some slight burns on his neck from the hot chow Mein C |
