Renting sounds like a good idea actually. Did it cost too much to rent?
I'd like to tour on a more 'tour friendly' bike to be honest as clip-ons are not as nice as normal bars for 'scenic touring' if you know what I mean. My bike is more suited for a Sunday blast than touring and I'd like to keep it that way. So it's either a second bike or rental for touring.

Will you let me know what and when for your Bari tour as it sounds right up my street? I'm thinking of coming along if you don't mind. I'll be riding with my wife pillion and normally cruise at an average of 50mph in normal roads and double that on highways.

Last time my wife went shopping with her sisters in Catania got all her bags stolen by two guys on a Vespa. She chased after them on foot and almost caught them in an alley. Good thing they got away though as they might have been armed. She used to do martial arts and quite strong for a she but a knife or a pistol is always something to be scared of. She remained wary of the place so we avoided it.

Aren't Busas overkill in most countries, more so on this little rock called Malta?!
Boys will be boys though and cant help themselves when in Suzuki's showroom
faced with that speedo reading 220Mph.

Yeah Mosta road is nice and is a snitchet from Palm Beach in Florida eh with all those palms an' all. Pity our roads are too short though to offer any real excitement

Nowhere's far in Malta, especially on a bike, that's the beauty of it. I'm about 20-30mins away depending on traffic. If you'd like to see bikes get yourself to Golden Bay, which is the island's biggest bike meet on Sunday mornings. It's not far from St. Pauls and there's a nice sandy beach there as well.

The parking lot seen above right would be filled only with bikes on every Sunday morning between 9am to 1pm...

Bugibba Square, in St. Paul's area (nearest to your friend's place)

If you want to enjoy night life this where you need to head to...
