Quite a few of the riders on here have been abroad , their main complaint is Clip-ons and sore bum syndrome , I binned my clip-ons for an ABM top yoke and Renthal bars and I find the standard seat to be fine once I lowered the pegs an inch or so . You are used to a SportsBike position so this may not be an issue for yourself . Fuel wise it should be good mileage if you don`t thrash it , not excellent mileage , but acceptable . Get that puppy over a ton though and it will start to slurp away

I like a good hugger on an SV. I bought a powerbronze hugger and it's okay but their pan is appauling and the fixings go rusty in seconds.
Lowers are good until you want crash bungs and servicing so i'm happy with the semi fairing. |
