The suspension is just awesome, IMO. I'm thinking I'm going to need a steering damper, though. It's a bit skittish accelerating over bumps. Was progressive springs+10w oil at the front, and a ZX10r shock at the rear. It's just a really good mix between ride quality and stability and the bike hardly sags at all when I get on it, and I'm a fat ******* lol Much better than the Z, both in terms of handling and ride

I'm planning to fit some the USD front end conversion when I'm minted, It'd look ace on this. Also wouldn't mind a full respray as it's a little bit tatty round the edges (It's 10 years old, it's still in good nick!) and there's a minute ding in the tank, paint's not even broken. As for restriction, well fact of the matter is I can't afford it at the mo. Will do when I'm up and running money wise - Bear in mind I'm £1200 in debt now. :-X

For some reason I don't care about chicken strips anymore. I'm happy to say I had none on my Z so I'm happy. I'll happily be called a muppet at the pub, but that's the price you pay to have your bike in one piece. If I'm that bothered I'll do a trackday.

That said, when the police came to the accident on my Z, not one of the 4 officers asked me whether it was restricted, nor did they ask to see my licence.
