Since when does a Kawasaki Versys handle "well"? Competent handling, maybe. But certainly not up to sports bike levels.

Eh? Look at it from the insurance companies perspective. You want to remove the perfect good front end that Suzuki deemed adequate to work with the bike, to shoe-horn a different one on from a completely different bike. You and I know it is a tried and tested modification, but to a insurance company it probably sounds like the motorcyle equivalent of a cut and shut!
If they won't insure mods, then don't use them but I don't see why you can get moody at them and write a nasty letter? |

Carole Nash get my money every year, they're not cheap but they're so much easier to deal with for this sort of thing. My bike's on agreed value now like a classic, most places wouldn't even offer that (and it's insured for a comically large amount too considering it's a 9 year old 50000 mile girl's bike
![]() Plus, their modified bikes form is pure genius, it makes me feel a bit inadequate. "Has engine been replaced" No "Is it turboed" No. "Has the wheelbase been extended by more than 12 inches" No "Does it make over 300bhp" No Is the frame custom built" No.

Ebike's mod form was similar to that, and afaik, it didn't sdd too much on last time I looked.
