yeah its on its 8k mile service just cant bring myself to spend £150 on it when i could most likely do it on my own

On removing the oil filter, some times the rubber seal can come off and remain stuck to the engine! If this happens, be sure to remove it before locating the new filter. If not, oil will leak and when riding will end up all over you back tyre! Not good!

the hardest part is replacing the plugs... rear is a awkward to do.. front is a real bitch you have to swing the radiator up out the way... while you are there clean the drain holes and smear some silicon grease on the plug cap flange where it meets the cylinder head (makes it a bit more water proof) remember and fully push the plug caps home or you will not make a seal and get water in the front plug hole...
must admit the halfords oil is good, while you are there get some copper sump washers.. we use the halfords oil in my brothers duke.. but as said... use genuine suzuki oil filter... |
