You can also try a Naptha based lighter fluid such as the "Zippo" one , that will remove the ground in gum , and to finish it off , take a bit of 4x2 plank and apply it at high speed across the back of the head of the offender until 4x2 breaks ....... if it breaks too easily first time then upgrade to a thicker bit of wood .
