Well I know Luckypants is home safe cos I`ve spoken to him and it sounds like he had a great day.

I think you should all berate him for not letting you know he`s home safe.... instead he`s gone to the pub to eat drink and be merry

PS: Glad you all had a great time

I only had time for a quick post earlier as I had to drive Sophie's friend home.

Terrific day - yes come to think of it I was at the back all the time, but I didn't mind, in fact I didn't even think about it except for that last bit of the A44 - I was caught behind 5 cars all bunched together through the twisties - doing 35 - yes, 35 - cos some selfish moron ar$ehole in a Toyota people carrier wanted to crawl along. I got past them one by one and had to force my way into the gaps, and when I got past the Toyota the driver gave me the finger - what a complete d1ckhead. Someone commented on the weather - how very British! - I think we had 3 very brief showers, but hardly noticed.

Thanks for coming everyone, I know that for some it was a long way. Mark, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet, a pleasure delayed not denied

Got home 10 mins after leaving the services, quick drink, went to feed pony, cooked tea, settled our Austrian student in, had tea and a much needed glass of wine, now chilling on the sofa. Thanks to ed for arranging the day, and many thanks to the guys who helped me get the bike upright when i had a senior moment and tried a too slow turn on a bank and gracefully fell over. Thanks for not laughing at my misfortune, my face felt as red as a beetroot, thankfully no damage done, to bike or me, thanks R&G frame protectors. Still managed to have a brill day.

Daryl.

Meant to say, Neio turned up at the OK Diner, just as we were leaving. Sends all his regards. Seemed in very good spirits all round.

Forgot to mention, we passed a Google 'Street View' vehicle just after Ludlow, so worth checking the B4364 in the future to see if any orgers got snapped

Back safe and sound. Blasted back to Notts with twenty minutes to spare.

Was sooo tired and achy after work though. Worth the effort though as had a good day. Cheers leaders, TEC's and Ed for organising.

Thanks for a great ride folks, whatever the road with 'Streetview' car was, I really enjoyed playing catch-up after marking the junction. Now I know why I paid for Maxton suspendies!!!
