I just have to get Lucien qualified for Crufts now! his first proper show is in 2 weeks time!

Sammy
Well good luck and let us know how he gets on. If you know the area, can you think of anywhere that would be a good place to take the dogs on the Saturday. It would be great if we could find somewhere that would be a good place to spend a decent few hours relaxing, playing with the dogs and having a picnic etc. Could be good for anyone with kids too.

I'll do a search for a park or somewhere i am sure there are plenty of walks around the area.

Mine love kids, especially Mina, she is such a softy!

Same as my lot. Been doing lots of socialising with Stig this last year and all I do now is have his muzzle on for the first five mins (not that he needs it) get the kids to throw a stick a few times and hey presto...he's all good. The others all love kids!

Sounds like we should be able to have a fun few hours!!!

Working dogs are on a Thursday for Crufts 2010, so if you are there, make your way over to the Alaskan Malamute ring Mal's look amazing when they are all brushed up, especially the boys... i can't wait to get Lucien in the show ring, he is a real chunky boy and we think he will do really well this year!

I showed Dan the pics yesterday and we both agree he's a very handsome boy!

Can't wait to meet him.

Stunning looking dogs, well done on placing. only those that have done it realise how much time and effort is reauired, (some folk think children are hard work) We used to have and show samoyeds, but have been dogless for a few years now, friends still show (just switched from boxers to dobs) I love big dogs, mals, akitas, siberian huskies etc, think they are pride personified and have an amazing gait.
I'm in the process of dog proofing the garden as we may~~ be looking at getting something later this year after our wedding. We will not be showing again though, so may go down the rescue route rather than puppy.

Well done again.

Thanks

It took us over 2 hours to groom Mina on Friday, and it took 2 of us to do it too... one to distract her and one to bath and dry her! But seeing how well she performs with our handler Nikki and seeing the smile on her face when she does it it is well worth the time.

We may have a future champion, the judge said we need to thicken her coat up, and she will look amazing! Just got to do it all over again in 2 weeks time for Bath Championship Show!

We have to keep them outside as her coat is finer than it should be as they are house dogs. So we are building a run on the part of the garden that is always in shade so we can keep them out there and know they are safe

Central heating has made their coats too soft She is also on Yumega Oil which helps recondition and strengthen coat and when she loses her coat it will grow back quicker and thicker. Lucien is losing all his puppy coat at the moment too so he is also on the Yumega Oil.
