Alll circumstantial.

I would hesitate to tell someone where my old boss lives, more for the safety of the person wanting to know!

I'm guessing it would depend on if you thought that money would make you happy as well? I think the money would make my life a little less unbeareable so chances are i would squeeze for as much as i could get.

1/ a bloke wants to break into your work for what reason you dont know
No money, wouldnt want any ties to it but I'd be getting some serious time off while police look into it so id win on those grounds.

2/ you witness a accident and are asked to kept quite about the identity of the driver was
I'd take everything in his/her wallet or what ever they offered cash there and then. Then turn the f****r in all the same the question suggests there was a victim and that the offender didnt just hit a wall or something.

3/ to give someone your boss's address
tbh dont know it, but supposing I did still wouldnt he's a sound bloke. My last boss however, na couldnt do it. crimes against a company I can let that slide but crimes against idividuals hmmm naaa cant accept that. Be cool to give a false address inform the police and set up some kind of sting operation.

now concider money no object
1. No chance. I'd be a prime suspect and I'd almost certainly get caught. Without a chopper waiting to extract me and take me to an airport with a private jet waiting to take me somewhere warm without an extradition treaty with the UK and payment of a few million, I'd not even consider it.
2. Depends on the severity of the accident: my morals would require me to track down the wronged party and give them more money than they'd of gotten from the insurance payout. My greed would also require me to have enough money left over to make it worth my while (a few grand at least).
3. As per 2; I'd have to give the boss enough money to make it worth his while to sate my concience. I know disgruntled ex-employees have contacted him at home before and he has shrugged it off, so he'd probably be up for me doing it for several grand.

All the money in the world isn't worth much when you can't look yourself in the eye in the mirror in the morning.

So let me get this straight Dave, someone asked you to break into your work and you didn't know what for, as they were escaping, your boss ran them over cos he got the call from the alarm company, however the person that got run over got up and ran into a nearby forest and escaped, only to come back to you the next day and ask for your bosses address to go and do him over.

A decent fry-up would do it right now. Black coffee, no sugar please.

But the bigger payout, the more it affects your lifestyle, and the more you'd be reminded of what you now have, being owed to something which wasn't honourable.
