take care though, doesnt mean that anything else they sell is made to the same quality as that supplied to Suzuki.

The EBC Pro-lites are sold as 'not for road use'. Main problem is that they get a covering of surface rust pretty quickly, the braking surface and performance seem to remain fine (although I do keep mine garaged when its not raced).

They look great when you first fit them but can look tatty pretty soon afterwards if you dont keep stripping and cleaning them.

I had the EBC Pro-Lites, decent enough discs but I got fed up with having to boot them every winter morning to break them away from the pads They'd literally rust together overnight as soon as there was salt on the roads, complete pain in the nuts.

Sunstar is a massive company and major supplier of OEM stuff - for several brands I believe -as well as some aftermarket components. From their website (http://www.sunstar.com/products/safe...otorcycleparts):

"Sunstar holds an overwhelming global market share as the world's No.1 maker of motorcycle sprockets and brake discs."

"Under the Braking and Sunstar product names, we develop, produce and market total brake system solutions for motorcycles, including discs, callipers, master cylinders, pads, wheels and sprockets."

"61 world titles under the product brand Braking"

"Our high-performance, innovative Braking WaveŽ discs, the first non-round brake disc..."

It's origins are in Japan in 1932 (bicylcle parts) and strangely enough they also do dental care products- which is where the name comes from: brushing in the morning (sun) and evening (star).

I think any discs sold under their name would be at least as safe as any other major brand available. I'd be interested in knowing who's selling their stuff? Ive never seen them sold as aftermarket aside from the Braking brand (which I have on my KTM and works very well).

I must have bought the wrong EBC's then cos mine after a year and a half and all through winter have NEVER gone rusty anywhere.

They do not say Pro-lite on them , have a silver carrier and were bought as ROAD discs.

Reduced initial braking in the wet (less holes?) more grab in the dry.

Are you sure they're genuine and not Chinese counterfeits?

Dunno, no one else knows much about them, apart from the fact they make Suzuki OEM parts. So how has someone got a set of 'Race discs'.

Got the item number or a link to it?

Sellers feedback @ 100%

Good item description?
