Oh, and just for the record, many of those young folks will be part of the large local student community whose educational establishments and residential accommodation are close to or within the City Centre.

A large proportion of these students are not from Wales. I there object to the title of this thread*

Eh? Did you even read it? It's not a news article about being young, going out, getting into scrapes or getting wasted. It's about a documentary photographer and his work. Aside from the usual Daily Mail bullsh!t mid-article, the guy is pretty positive and interested in what he is seeing.

no, my bad. i have to say i didnt read the article. i (wrongly) assumed it was a slight on da yoof, welsh, or any other "minority" they cared to pick on that day.

Right or rong its just a scene you dont see in European Cities. Why i dunno but this comment from the Mail...Grim, but that is sadly how I remember Cardiff, this is the culture we live in but you would not see these scenes in any other European capital city. I blame the parents tolerant upbringing and the welfare state along with the crazy 24 hr drink law imposed by this inept government.
