gas/electic bills

20 per month for electric 25 for gas.

Gas and Elec about £180pm on a dual-fuel tariff with Utility Warehouse.

Large-ish bay-fronted detached Edwardian house with loft conversion, roof well insulated, walls cavity-filled but with single glazed (and v wind-leaky) sash windows.

House: Modern 4 bed townhouse (2 years old)
Gas & Electric: £97.50 a month.......prior to this it was £59 a month but I put the boiler on permenantly from october to January by mistake so the Gas bill went through the roof, fully expect it to go back down
Water: £7 a month lol

There only 2 of us in the house and we are out most of the time.

You are paying WAY to much

im bout to make you feel bad 120 ish three months elec, gas 90 - 150 three months but but me n dave are hardly ever in and usally turn off central heating in feb and put back on oct time. no kids etc still think it high though for what we use.
you are over priced though

Gas/Electric £71.50 per month combined. (I enter meter readings every month online to make sure) for a 2 bed semi

I'm with scottish gas - £40 leccy & £66 gas a month for a 2 bedroom flat.

God I hate them too!! They always say that they dont understand me and tell me to repeat it again. Grrr!!

Hovis - glad you got through and got a newer & cheaper bill. Do you have a nectar card? If so, Did you know that you can tell EDF your number and you can accumulate nectar points and then get money off on shopping?
