i was thinking straight down the a1? thing is it depends on how long you want to take? i mean i think its going to take the best part of 4 hours realistically. So if you want to make it 6 we could take all the back roads?

up to how people feel really? personally a1 will be best i think and get a spot. we can then get down there and go for a spin? We could meet at doncaster services?

You The Misses and My Dog? poor dog! lol,

I've read in the Thred which Andy Brad started that PT6 was on about meeting at Wooley Edge Services. Its on the M1 tho so :S I know the misses would rather take teh car down the A1 as thats the way she used to travel to see some family DARRNSARRF gives the restricted bikes and vtwins a breather too when we hit roundabouts. Plus its got the bonus of it been lined with petrol stations and garages! Might be an idea to plan a stop along the way so we can re-gather and I can ask the missues if I have to remain as an escort or if I can go off an play with the other bikes

Nowt stopping us meeting at Wooley Edge then cutting across the M18 or other road to the A1M - its only a couple of miles across at that point.
Also the M1 has a very long 50mph section a bit further down, that seems to have been there for the last 8 years or so, so the A1 might be a better bet.

Oh yeah the 50mph average speed check which covers nearly 50mile near birminham. Bloody crap that thing! We went through at 4am on a trip down to Taunton the other summer 3 lanes of NOTHING and I was held at 50!
