Is that with the standard seat, or the gel one? I've found the standard seat to be very comfortable, but I'm thinking of getting the gel for long distance riding.

Nice one Ian, always liked the "kermit" colour, it's sort of the "anti - black" version (although I think the S3 looks mean as **** in black), loud & proud....

Cheers Mark.

Fairly sure its the std seat, I was on it for around 2 hours and felt absolutely fine, compared to the cbr it was like sitting in an armchair

Still a bit wobbly around town while I get my balance right on it and get used to it but was really nice on the a roads and motorways, felt so smooth and planted

I've been told that the kermit colour is the sought after colour for them but yes black is lovely.. altho if i'd bought a brand new one i'd have probably gone for white

Just trying to decide if I get some aftermarket cans on it or not

I always planned to put aftermarket cans on mine, but after hearing the standard exhaust note on the 1050 I didn't bother. In fact, when I test rode one before buying, I thought that the demo bike had aftermarket cans, because it sounded so much better than the SV.

whilst I'd agree to an extent, the standard can's are restrictive (add a tuneboy to the shopping list) and heavy, given the choice I went for one of these.

Truely awesome (I've no ideal whether they do one for th 1050's or not though).

Cheers Mark.
